Patchimals is a kid's oriented project. We care very much about them, their rights and privacy. Every element of the applications has also been created taking parents into account, thinking about their peace of mind and security when choosing our products and allowing their children to play with us.
We always try to follow The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Our apps do not access any personal information on your devices, no contacts, applications or web history. We do not collect any personally identifiable information (such as your name, address, phone, e-mail, photos) through the apps.
If you believe we have mistakenly collected any of this information, please contact us.
Information we collect
We use Google Analytics (http://www.google.com/analytics/) for anonymous statistics about our web usage, so we can improve our services. Also the stores (App Store and Google Play) provide us with anonymous information. All this information is about app downloads, in-app purchases, countries, devices and usage (screens and times).
Our website has small cookies to provide you with the right service. We save your language selection, and we use Google Analytics for anonymous statistics about our web usage, so we can improve our services. We collect personal data (e-mail) if you subscribe to our newsletter, and other information (name and e-mail) if you contact us thru our contact or support forms. All this information is used only for its purpose: sending newsletter in the first case, writing back in the second. We do not share any information with third parties.
Our apps include external links to our social networks, website and reviews, all of them behind parental control.
Our apps may include In-App Purchase to enable additional levels. If so, it is always behind parental control.
Banners / publicity
Our apps free version includes a main screen on start to inform you when we have Patchimals news of any kind: updates, offers, new apps or products, etc. The information shown here is created by our team, and nobody else. It is only visible if the device is online and we have some news to tell. This screen is easily skipped, or closes automatically after 5 seconds. This main screen may include a link to buy the in-app purchase, to unlock all levels, but always behind parental control. If you unblock all levels (do in-app purchase) this screen is not visible.
Only the free Android version has one publicity banner in the home off the apps. This banner is provided by Admob (http://www.google.com/ads/admob/) and is only visible if the device is online. If you unblock all levels (do in-app purchase) there are no ads of any kind.
